  Calicut Heroes is a well-built and potent team that played in the first-ever national Volleyball League (Pro-Volleyball League). The team is born out of the passionate hands of Beacon Sports, as the very first team instilled and nourished under a private establishment. Indian International Volleyball Player Kishore Kumar served the team coach position exceptionally which made the industrious players keep up their spirit and enthusiasm intact irrespective of the ups and downs.

  The team composition changes according to the seasons. However, as per the rules of the sport of volleyball, Calicut Heroes owns a total of 14 players in the team for a single season. This would be a team comprising top-notch attackers, blockers, setters, universals, and libero. While these 14 players represent the team spirit and strength of Calicut Heroes on the court, the real team is even bigger with a whole lot of cheering fan base, coach, physios, supporting staff, managing partners, sponsors, etc. The coach position of the team is being served by Mr. Kishor Kumar for the past three years, testifying to the coordination, discipline, and team play of the Heroes. Jerome Vinith has also got that golden esteem of being in the captaincy of the Heroes in the RuPay Pro Volleyball Season 1 and also in RuPay Prime Volleyball Season 1. The position is now proudly handed over to the USA player, Matt Hilling. Young Indian cricketer and the Keralite pride Sanju Samson has been adorning the Brand Ambassador title of Calicut Heroes for the I Prime Season and also in the upcoming II.
