With the inception of India’s first volleyball league, Beacon sports took the city of Calicut to the forefront with its very own knights in shining armour, Calicut’s very own volleyball team, Calicut Heroes. The team is a clear symbol of Calicut’s love for sports, with people from all walks of life embodying it as their own and coming to the front to support the heroes.
With their debut season, the team led an incredible tournament as they managed to win every single match until the final and came out as the runners up. They might have lost the final but they were the clear winners in everyone’s hearts.
The momentum the team gathered was surely beyond expectations and to keep it going, Beacon Sports ensures that the team stays on point till the next league to secure a victory and become the champions they deserve to be.
OUr Great Team
The team composition changes according to the seasons. However, as per the rules of the sport of volleyball, Calicut Heroes owns a total of 14 players in the team for a single season. This would be a team comprising top-notch attackers, blockers, setters, universals, and libero. While these 14 players represent the team spirit and strength of Calicut Heroes on the court, the real team is even bigger with a whole lot of cheering fan base, coach, physios, supporting staff, managing partners, sponsors,etc.
